This is a performance based class for students who have some previous experience in guitar, bass guitar, keyboards, drums, singing, and/or sound mixing. Students will meet in small groups and will be assigned (by committee) songs that vary in genre (rock, pop, blues, metal, etc.). Students are expected to independently learn their assigned songs prior to their scheduled rehearsal times. As a large group, we use these songs for future performances and various assessments. Students are also encouraged to write and perform their own compositions which are graded and recorded at the end of the semester.

*Previous experience in sound mixing is not required.
