This is an intro band class for those who have never played an instrument or those who haven't played in a long time! No prerequisites necessary! (Sorry, guitar, drum kit and piano are not an option for this course. Strings with approval from the teacher). This class is also available for students who currently play an instrument, but would like to learn a second (or 3rd +) instrument. In this class, you will learn the fundamentals of music and theory, as well as learn to play an instrument. This class will run every Monday and Wednesday during the lunch period for the entirety of the school year. After completion of this course, students may join the Intermediate or Senior Concert Bands with permission from the teacher. Some instruments are available for rental through the school, but students are encouraged to have their own instruments when possible.
