Instrumental Music 10/20/30 have 2 options - Senior Concert Band or Intermediate Concert Band.

Senior Concert Band: Senior Concert Band is our large concert ensemble for students in Grades 10 - 12. Classes are as follows: Brass, Bass & Percussion - Mondays 7:40am - 8:50am, Woodwinds - Wednesdays 7:40am - 8:50am, and FULL Concert Band Fridays 7:40am - 8:50am. We focus on growing our musical skills and building a culture of kindness, accountability, collaboration and fun. If you register for this class, select Instrumental Music 10/20/30 (S).

Intermediate Band is for Grade 9-12 students who enjoy playing music, but do not want to commit to the rigor and early mornings of Senior Band or for those continuing from Intro Band. Students will meet every other day yearlong during the regular timetable and will work on building their musical talents in a smaller ensemble with plenty of opportunities to grow and showcase their musical talents. Older students in this ensemble also have the opportunity to work with and mentor our new Grade 9 musicians and welcome them to the HHHS Family! Experienced players who would like to play a secondary instrument in this ensemble are encouraged to register for Intermediate Band, but can still play in Senior Band. Prerequisites for this class are Instrumental Music 9 or any level of Intro Band. If you played in Band in Middle School, but did not play in Grade 9, please email amanda.fitch@rdpsd.ab.ca to discuss eligibility for this class.
