Course Description:
Improv Theatre 15
This course expands on the improvisional theatre unit taught in Drama 9 and 10. In this course, students with explore, learn, and be able to demonstrate various short-form improv skills. These skills will entail: acting on impluse, accepting, supporting, making offers, advancing and expanding, celebrating failure, the elements of a scene, and character/narrative skills. Students will also be introduced to various long-form formats and structures.
Students will have the opportunity to perform at the Northern Alberta Improv League in Edmonton, as well as in school shows.
Please note: As this course occurs outside of the timetable you must select it as a primary choice for it to be added to your schedule.
