Foods 20
Students are given the opportunity to build on their knowledge and abilities. They are also asked to utilize the creativity and knowledge they have obtained from the previous course. Students will have the opportunity to complete a Food Safety Certification along with options to develop more skills regarding soups and sauces, meat cookery or vegetarian cuisine, breads, meal planning, cakes and pastry along with food safety, sanitation, international cuisine and nutrition and health. This is a great course for preparing students to be living on their own. Opportunity for additional credit and lab options depend on time and student effort.
