Fashion and Textile Arts 20

Course material is designed to be sequential to the curricular scope and sequences chosen and completed by the student. Fashion studies allows students to expand upon personal interests and skills learned in Fashion 10. Projects include an intermediate level upper or lower torso garment and students will have the opportunity to create a variety of projects such as costuming, accessories, sewing for others, home decor, activewear, textile arts, fashion merchandising and/or household items. They will also have a chance to continue to develop their Fashion Illustration skills. There are more advanced modules that are available which can be discussed with the instructor. Students who demonstrate advanced skills could have the opportunity to start preparing to compete for a spot in provincial skills competitions.
