COURSE DESCRIPTION

These courses give students opportunities to develop baking and cooking skills and to explore meal planning, food presentations, nutrition and cultural foods. Students will have the opportunity to work with commercial equipment with instruction from the HHHS Chef/Cafeteria Manager. Students may be involved in food preparations for various school activities such as Music/ Drama celebrations, luncheons and special school events. Foods 20 students have the opportunity to write the Canadian Food Safety Certification Test.
