Psychology- Abnormal 35 & Sociology 30 Combined

This combined 6-credit course is designed for students interested in human behaviour - individually and in groups. The scientific study of human behaviour and mental processes is explored through exposure to psychological facts, approaches, principles, and phenomena. The psychology component of the course focuses specifically on historical and current understandings of clinical disorders. The objectives of the sociology course are designed to develop a better understanding of group behaviour among students. Students will be able to objectively analyze occurrences of individual and group behaviours around them. They will develop an understanding of themselves as a part of society, analyze societal influence on their lives, and visualize their roles in societal change.
