Course Description:
Games, Robotics & Coding 30
Students will develop applied skills and problem solving abilities by:
- Learning intermediate electronics focused on building and controlling sensor specific circuits using Arduino
- Further exploration into Computer Science topics such as Operating Systems, Networking, and server builds/configurations
- Further development of coding skills using text coding languages such as Python and C
- Build and control increasingly advanced robotic structres using platforms such as Tetrix and Petoi
- Design and code single/multi player games using the Python Pygame library and the Micro:bit robotic platform
The material is distinct from materials offered in other school courses and that the material is not a prerequisite to any 10-level course delivered by the school.
