Course Description:
Esthetics 10/20/30
The Esthetics program introduces students to the world of professional skin care, nail services, and spa industries through hands-on learning in a salon-style classroom. Students learn the fundamentals of skin anatomy and skin care routines, perform facials, practice manicures, and develop creative nail art techniques while learning proper sanitation, safety, and professional service procedures. These courses are based on Alberta CTS esthetics curriculum standards and help students develop both technical skills and industry knowledge.
As students progress, they explore advanced topics such as spa awareness and the business side of the esthetics industry, including spa services, wellness trends, and potential career pathways. This program is ideal for students interested in beauty, wellness, entrepreneurship, or careers in the esthetics and spa industries, while also building practical skills such as client communication, creativity, and professionalism.
