Machining/CNC

This dedicated Fabrication course will focus on the use of both manual and CNC (Computer Numeric Control) machine tools. CNC programming and operation has become commonplace in most all industries today and is also a component of most Post Secondary Engineering courses. Get a leg up on the competition.

Students having taken the prerequisite Fabrication 10 will be offered the opportunity to learn blueprint reading, operation of manual engine lathe and milling machines, create code with CAM (Computer Aided Machining) software and operate both a CNC lathe and milling machine through a variety of projects. Fabrication 10 is a required pre-requisite for this course.
